A Summer of SFC
Hey friends, here is an update for what SFC whistler in the summer might look like..
weekly core-group hangout, “meetings”. This will involve a bible study, dinner or food of some form depending on the day and time, everyone’s schedule is different so it will vary week to week. discussion of life happenings, hopes/plans/dreams for next season so when winter rolls around there will be a good idea of what the structure will look like. If core involvement sounds like its up your ally, then shoot SFC Whistler an email, or hit up facebook.
There will also be a monthly get-to-gather (party). The time and place will be posted on the blog as well as on the SFC Whistler Facebook page. Check it out. Announcements will be made at both Whistler Community Church and Church On The Mountain, and don’t feel that if your over 40 and waiting for hip surgery that your too old for SFC.. we’ll help you feel young again.
Community is so important in your growth, want it, find it, invest in it. Also, total side note.. and don’t get me wrong, I love girls, it just seems lately that the ratio is very one sided so if you’ve done a YWAM DTS and didn’t get hitched, or have been through a masters degree worth of bible college and haven’t found the women of your dreams come to Whistler. I need some solid bro-dudes, if we dont get more guys SFC Whistler may start doing pedicure nights or “Do your hair Fridays”.. its a scary thought, I know.
