Conference Highlights
WOOO boy! That was a good weekend! About 30 people from Whistler, Revelstoke, Golden, Fernie, Banff, Whitefish MT, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg converged on Invermere for our annual SFC conference. We had great times of praying together, being led in worship by Jenelle and Curtis, practical and strategic SFC talks, a mad game of Ultimate Frisbee, a great talk by Jeremy Postal and much more!
A big thanks to Kirk and Kerilyn, Aleisha and Windermere Alliance Church….you guys did a fantastic job of hosting this event!
Annual Conference!
Hey Everybody!
Our annual conference is only two weeks away! I hope that many of you are making plans to be in Invermere for that weekend. The festivities will kick off with dinner at 6pm on Friday Oct 14th. All of our meetings and “el cheapo” sleeping arrangements will be at Lake Windermere Alliance Church. If you want to sleep in a comfy hotel bed then that is totally up to you. We recommend booking a room at the Mountain View Lodge if that is the route you want to go.
We are aiming to line up billets for young families to stay with, so if you fall in that category please let me know asap if you are coming and we will try to find a nice local family for you to stay with. Besides we don’t want your screaming kids keeping everybody awake at the church….yes, I can say that….it happens.

Cost: $40/person
Start time: 6pm on Friday Oct 14th
End time: After church on Oct 16th

To Bring: Sleeping bag, sleeping mattress, swimsuit, hiking shoes, warm clothes (for possible hiking activity)
Please email/text/FB me back and let me know as soon as you can if you are able to make it and how many are coming with you. WE WANT THERE TO BE FOOD FOR EVERYONE. That’s really important to Kirk okay. He’s Greek, it’s an offense to go hungry.
