Hello there fellow snowsliders..
Whistler is an incredibly beautiful place, but under the surface, its really ugly. Its kind of like a candy apple thats become rotten. It looks soo good from the outside, but once you take a bite, you puke everywhere. Young people from all over the world come here to find themselves, searching for or running from something. But all they seem to find is a big non-stop party. People are longing for fulfilling community but settle for instant gratification. God has a big plan for redemption in this place, and has blessed me with being a part in it.
At the moment, Im still trying to figure stuff out, like living, working and figuring out how to stay in Canada. We havent had any meetings, but I would love to meet up with anyone who contacts me. Email me or check out the blog at www.sfc-whistler.blogspot.com for prayer updates.
