The May Long weekend saw heaps of adventure and fun for the SFC Banff crew and their friends. The weather may have been less than sunny, but that did not hinder the four days of BBQ, sleeping outside in hammocks, and shredding.
The weekend kicked off on Friday with people filing into town from as far as Kelowna, maybe even the Yukon? Saturday night witnessed the big barbeque, an SFC event sorely missed by those who did not attend. Hamburger and other barbeque paraphenalia were not in short supply; a great evening to lead up to Sunday. Sunday was the most enjoyable day of riding all year. Towards the end of the day the posse numbered 20 people! Monday was the Slush Cup at Sunshine Village, the Slush Cup is an annual event that marks the end of the ski season for the Banff area. And the Season Ender SFC weekend marked the end of the season for us. The weekend was one to remember, and we all look forward to next years Season Ender weekend.
