Junquos Journey

She had to get special permission from her boss to take time off of work as a schoolteacher. She packed her bags and travelled over 9,500 kms to a foreign country. She was picked up at the airport by some old and new friends, straight into a car for a 3 hour drive. While recovering from jet lag, she spent 2 days meeting together with National Leaders from around the world. Trying to make her voice heard in a room full of English speaking people. She made her first trip up a NZ mountain access road, and survived! She made new friends and connected with SFC people from all over the world. She bravely stood up in front of these people and shared a beautiful picture of the struggles and rewards of running SFC in Japan. Immediately following the conference she packed her bags, caught the first flight out of Queenstown and flew back for work.

Her name is Junquo Murayama and she is the National Coordinator for SFC Japan. To see her encouraged, refreshed, inspired and connected to the SFC network makes me realize that this is why we do this. We do this for Junquo and we do this for every person who is giving their time, energy and passion to help the snowriding culture in their area connect to Jesus Christ.
