SFC Banff and Banff Park Church hosted our annual Leaders Meeting this year.....and they did a great job! About 30 leaders from Whistler, Chiliwack, Kelowna, Golden, Fernie, Banff, Calgary, Whitefish and Waterloo made the road trip to be in Banff for the weekend.
We kicked things off a potluck dinner and then a pool session at the Banff Center on Friday night. Saturday morning we got together to watch a Bill Hybels DVD on volunteerism, and then to talk about Team Grom. We took the afternoon off to go shredding at Lake Louise and Sunshine....good times! We had more food, a great worship session, more talking and then epic rounds of Rock Band and ping pong. SFC Invermere took home the Riders Aid Cup for having raised the most money last season for Riders Aid. Sunday morning we went to the morning service at Banff Park Church and then had one more meeting to talk about Leading Small Groups.
