Michelle, Jesse, Lillian and myself made a trip down to Mammoth CA at the end of April for the 2nd Annual Lighthouse Conference. The Lighthouse Church was started approx 10 years ago by Dave and Stevie Nelson. They have had a phenomenal impact in Mammoth and particularly in the pro snowboarding community. Many riders have found life and freedom through the ministry of the Lighthouse. A few years ago they planted a church in Wanaka NZ and are now at various stages with communities in Redding CA, Flims Switzerland, Are Sweden and Whistler BC.
We had a great time of hanging out with friends from all over the world, reconnecting with the leadership of the Lighthouse, enjoying great worship, and outstanding speakers. It was a refreshing and invigorating time for all of us. It was so great to be with a group of people who are passionate for God and where His Spirit is given freedom minister. We also got to spend a few days with friends in Redding and got to check out the Bethel Church.
