I Heart Whistler

Gods been moving recently, and Im pretty excited about everything. Its been a really tough winter to be honest with you. From moving about and being houseless for 2 months at the beginning, to being completely broke, not riding much, Seth not getting back in to Canada, separating my shoulder, and most recently almost dying in a car rollover. Its been pretty testing but awesome as well. Its been nothing like what I imagined for my first year here, but I got given that exact word before I came.

It was really encouraging what you spoke over me at W.A.R about me setting firm foundations for the long run, and even though Ive been frustrated at times because its seems like nothing is moving forward, looking back its all been in Gods timing and I cant rush it at all. I feel like I have set some solid foundations, covering the area in prayer, building really good relationships with Tim, Jack and Chad, and also just dived into getting involved in the community. I feel like Whistler is my home, and I dont have any plans to leave for the foreseeable future.

And I just discovered that I have the option of extending my current working visa to buy me some more time for getting sponsored! Also once I have been here 2 years, I can apply for citizenship though a Canadian experience class So hopes of sticking around are very high!
